Tax services we focus on

Compliance, planning, and fixing problems when something has gone off track.

Preparation

Individual & small business tax returns

Federal and state returns for individuals, sole proprietors, single-member LLCs, and small businesses. Prepared with a focus on long-term impact, not just this year’s refund.

  • Form 1040, Schedule C, Schedule E (rental), basic K-1
  • Review of prior-year returns for obvious issues
  • Clear explanations of what changed and why
Planning

Tax planning & estimates

Proactive planning so taxes are not a surprise. We estimate what you’ll owe, discuss timing for major purchases, and look at “what if” scenarios before year-end.

  • Mid-year and year-end planning conversations
  • Estimated tax calculations and safe-harbor guidance
  • Entity and filing-status questions in plain English
Problem solving

IRS & state notice help

Letters and notices can be overwhelming. We help you understand what the letter is asking for, what your options are, and what should happen next.

  • Notice review and response strategy
  • Amended returns and prior-year corrections
  • Reasonable-cause explanations where appropriate
Compliance

Ongoing tax compliance & filings

Help with the recurring tax forms that keep your business in good standing — beyond just the annual income tax return.

  • Payroll tax returns: Forms 941, 940, state withholding
  • W-2, W-3, and 1099 filing guidance
  • State and local sales & use tax filings

We focus on the tax side of payroll and sales tax, not full payroll processing software.

How working together actually looks

Before we talk about fees, we look at your actual tax situation so the work, and the cost, make sense.

  1. 1

    Short intake & document review

You answer a few questions about your income, business activity, and prior filings. We review your last return and any current notices or compliance issues before we quote a fee.

  2. 2

Scope & fee explained in plain language

You receive a clear explanation of what work is needed and a fee based on complexity and not a one-size-fits-all package. You’ll always know what is included before we begin.

  3. 3

    Year-round questions welcome

Once you’re a tax client, you can reach out with questions as life happens, especially before you sign paperwork, pull money from retirement, or make big purchases.

Common questions

Do you publish your prices?

No. Every situation is different, and a fixed menu encourages rushed work. Fees are based on the time and judgment required for your return or project. You’ll always receive a fee quote before we begin.

Do you offer bookkeeping or payroll?

Our work is tax-focused. Limited bookkeeping clean-up or payroll guidance may be provided when it is necessary for accurate tax filing or planning, but we do not sell standalone bookkeeping or payroll packages.

Can you help with payroll and sales tax compliance?

Yes. We help with payroll tax returns (941, 940, state withholding) and sales & use tax filings from a tax-compliance perspective. For full payroll software and HR tools, we may coordinate with a payroll provider or recommend options.

Are you available outside of tax season?

Yes. Planning and compliance decisions often matter more during the year than at filing time. Existing clients can reach out as situations change.

Request Tax Services

We provide professional tax preparation and planning through a fully online process designed to eliminate unnecessary meetings, phone calls, and office visits.

Complete the form to request services. After reviewing your information, we’ll follow up with next steps and clear, upfront pricing.

This approach allows us to work efficiently, price accurately, and focus on getting your return done right the first time.

Submitting the form does not establish a client relationship. Services begin after an estimate is accepted and payment is received.
