How we can help

Tax preparation and support during the year.

Start with your tax return or a specific question. We'll explain the services that fit your needs.

Individuals & families

Income tax preparation

Tax preparation for wage earners, families, and retirees. We prepare your income tax return using your records, ask about missing information, and work through questions and changes in your situation.

Self-employment

Tax help for working on your own

Discuss freelance, contract, or other self-employment income and the expense records needed for your tax return. Any bookkeeping work is agreed separately.

Looking ahead

Planning and tax questions

Ask about changes in your income or circumstances, tax planning, and estimated payments. Planning services and their fees are discussed separately from return preparation.

Working with TaxGuard

A clear start, from inquiry to records.

You provide complete records and answer questions about your situation. We handle the agreed tax work and explain what we need along the way.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the inquiry form for a general introduction. Keep sensitive information and tax documents out of this first message.

  2. Agree on the work and fee

Discuss your tax needs, review the proposed services and cost, and agree on what is included before work begins.

  3. Share records and stay in touch

After the engagement begins, we’ll explain how to send documents, answer follow-up questions, and review information with us.

Before we begin

Questions before we begin.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. TaxGuard serves clients remotely across the United States. We'll discuss your filing needs and confirm whether we can help before agreeing on the work.

How should I send my tax documents?

After the engagement begins, we'll explain which records we need and how to share them securely. Don't put tax returns, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in the public inquiry form.

Can you help if I'm self-employed?

Yes. We can discuss your income tax preparation, business income and expense records, and estimated tax payment needs. A monthly bookkeeping engagement is not required. Any bookkeeping cleanup is scoped and priced separately.

Can I ask for help outside tax season?

Yes. You can contact us about tax planning, estimated payments, or a tax question during the year. We'll discuss the help you need and the fee before work begins.

Let’s talk

A clearer next step starts here.

Tell us a little about yourself and the help you need. We’ll follow up to discuss the work, the timing, and the cost.

Please keep Social Security numbers, bank details, and tax documents out of this form. We’ll explain how to share sensitive records when needed.
